The accuracy is about 75-90%, we would NOT recommend this unit for any walking program that is looking to obtain important feedback. It is a great unit for trade show and promotional give-aways.

Instructions for the product

User manual is included with individual units.
For bulk products, the instructions are as follows:

Operating Instructions

Mounting the pedometer on your waistband or belt -
Attach securely and close to the center of your body.

Incorrect mounting, or the way you walk, may produce inaccurate results.

Starting the pedometer -
Press the RESET button to clear your previous steps unless you want to continue your count for the day.

To LCD display will show your steps, mileage/km and calories in sequence with pressing the MODE button.

Trouble shooting -
1. Not all your steps are being detected =
Answer: check the mounting of the pedometer. It should be straight and secure on your waistband or belt. It should also be placed between your navel and side (closer to the front center).

2. Display problems -
Answer: possible low battery, low ambient temperature. Either replace the battery, or bring to a warmer temperature.

3. LCD display is black -
Answer: possible direct sunlight or high temperatures for too long. Display will recover to normal status in the shade.
